Attendance is optional, join if you like the idea!
A small contribution (approximately 5€ / 40 DKK per person) is kindly requested to help cover the cost of food and keep track of number of people attending. Any amount is welcome.
Confirmation is not needed immediately — please let us know by two weeks prior to the wedding.
The venue is available until 18:30. Guests can look forward a casual lunch, good BBQ( vegetarian option included), arepas, and a relaxed afternoon.

How to get there
Mas Terrats is a rural property in the countryside, and a car is required to get there.
For guests interested in renting a car and sharing the journey with others, arrangements can be made — please let us know, and we will connect you with fellow guests seeking the same.
Where to stay
Mas Terrats is out in the countryside, here are your options:
Glamping on site, stay in Mas terrats.
Rural lodging is available in the nearby town.
Hotels — the closest towns with hotel options are about 15-18 minutes away by car.
Glamping
For guests who’d rather not drive after the party, we’re offering a glamping option right on site. These are “fancy” tents set up in the little forest on the property.
A cozy, easy way to stay close without worrying about the trip home.
– Tents can be shared by 2, 4, or 6 (to be confirmed) people.
– There’s a fee for this option. In September we receive the fees and how to pay, either to us or directly to the venue.
– If you’re interested, just let us know in the attendance form and we’ll take care of booking it with the venue.
– The house’s common bathrooms will be available the next morning for anyone staying in the glamping tents.

We suggest to not delay until very late the hotel booking, since its right after easter holiday.

Traditions
As we come from very different cultures, we’ve shared a little about the wedding traditions of each country below — for anyone curious to learn more, and so that everyone feels welcome to take part in and share one another’s customs.
Danish traditions
Cutting the Grooms Socks
The groom is lifted up by his friends, and the toes of his socks are cut off. The tradition dates back to a time when people owned only one pair of socks, and symbolizes the groom taking on the responsibilities of married life.
Cutting the Brides Veil
During the reception, guests tear pieces from the bride’s veil — once believed to protect her before marriage, and no longer needed once she’s wed. Guests keep their piece for good luck.
Kissing While the Bride or Groom Steps Away
If the groom leaves the room, the male guests rush to kiss the bride.
If the bride leaves, the female guests do the same with the groom.
It’s a lighthearted custom meant to remind the couple to “keep an eye” on each other — or someone might just steal a kiss.
Tapping, Stomping, and Chair kisses
Danish reception tables come with their own rules: if guests tap their knives on their glasses, the couple must stand on their chairs and kiss. If guests stamp their feet, the couple has to duck under the table for a kiss instead.
Venezuelan and Spanish Traditions
In Venezuela, our biggest tradition is simple: our food <3, so eat and drink plenty!
We’ll be serving Venezuelan food, and hope that everyone connects through food and drinks, even when might not share the same language.
La hora Loca or The crazy hour
A lively Venezuelan tradition where the party takes an energetic turn later in the night — music picks up, guests are handed props like masks, glasses, and light-up accessories, and all together dance to classic party hits.
Napkin Twirl on Arrival
As the couple enters the dinner reception, guests twirl their napkins above their heads — a joyful welcome as the newlyweds make their first appearance as a married couple.
Father Daughter Dance
A traditional dance between the bride and her father. In my case, it will be one song shared, my grandfather also has a dance 🙂
What is the dress code:
Dress Code: Formal
We’d love for you to dress up with us — formal attire, but no need for a tux unless you really want one! Think of it as your own version of formal, whatever that means to you.
In Spain and Venezuela, that usually means long or midi-length dresses for the women, and suits or dress shirts for the men. I love color, so please feel free to be as bold and colorful as you like — there’s no set color palette for guests here!
One small favor to ask, especially for the women: please avoid white, beige, cream, champagne, or very pale yellow, as those are kept for the bride.
Weather in Catalunya in April:
Expect mild, springtime weather in Catalunya during April — daytime highs around 18–19°C, with cooler evenings closer to 8–9°C. A light layer for the evening is a good idea, and it’s a lovely time of year to be outdoors in the Catalan countryside.
It will be nicer for the Danes than for the Venezuelan 😀

We need to confirm attendance witht the catering and venue so we are able to ensure we have enought for everyone, please bare in mind the deadline for confirmation.
Wedding Registry or presents:
Since ours is a destination wedding, we know it’s already a real commitment for everyone — especially those traveling from abroad — so truly, just having you there with us is more than enough. We dont expect anything at all!
That said, if you’d like to give us something, you can help us with our honeymoon fund, that would mean the world to us.
